Physicians

The last several years have created numerous challenges for community oncologists making the delivery of quality care increasingly difficult.  Despite advances in treatment, the development of novel therapies and technological improvements, physicians are struggling with increasing administrative burdens and new obstacles to delivering quality care.  The cost of administering treatment has increased, coincident with decreases in reimbursement.  This combination is threatening the current practice paradigm.

To address this dilemma,  FCCN is offering oncologists the opportunity to network with like minded colleagues who are committed to delivering evidence based care.  Utilizing technology that can monitor and benchmark the treatment of patients with cancer, FCCN  represents its members at the payer level.  FCCN presents a comprehensive clinically integrated physician network to managed care organizations and health insurance providers who are committed to providing their beneficiaries with cost effective care in the community setting. This solution will allow practices to more efficiently deliver care, reducing the need for prior authorization and addressing the financial threats to outpatient cancer care.

Participating practices have agreed to embrace information technology that allows them to demonstrate their commitment to evidence based care pathways developed through consensus amongst the network's members.
